"If it frustrates you, it wins."
==============================Does being frustrated serve any useful purpose?
If it does, are there classes you can take or experiences for which you can pay that help you become frustrated? More frustrated even?
We have gyms to get fit and mindfulness exercises to get balanced, but I’ve yet to see a widespread movement toward seeking frustration.
So, if being frustrated is simply a side effect of something we do (or don’t do as the case may be), and it’s not actually useful, why work so hard to amplify the frustration we feel? Why bother to create an explanatory narrative, push hard against the powerless bureaucrat, yell at the bad driver in front of us (a personal failing of mine) or double down on a losing trade simply to make ourselves even more frustrated?
The only person getting taught a lesson is us.
