If you want to become a better trader and successfully grow your business, dedicate time and energy to discarding bad and/or counterproductive habits while simultaneously replacing them with good daily habits.
In the interest of helping you along your way, the next several posts offer tips on the habits of some of the best simple traders.

Daily Simple Trading Habit #1 -- Shower (please) and “dress” for work.
Does that mean you have to return to the uniform of your old life (suit and tie)?
Not even a little.
Trading is about mindset more than anything else. For some traders that means putting on old school business attire… there’s something about seeing your cufflinks as you move the mouse around that puts you in a business mindset.
For other traders the proverbial hoodie is the only attire they ever want to wear. Still others remember (fondly) wearing cardigans to shield themselves from the frigid temps in their old prop trading office… You should feel free to replicate that environment and costume if it puts you in a profitable mindset.
In truth, if wearing your Black Panther Long Johns (don’t act like I’m the only person who has them) puts you in a profitable mindset… make like it’s Halloween and throw that get up on. Just make sure you shower first… please… especially if you’re part of my online trading room😉.
