How To Trade F.A.A.N.G. Component Apple [AAPL]

Looks like just a matter of time before price exceeds the high from earlier this year.

Apple exploded through the old all time high and got as high as $400/share before pulling back just a bit.  I wouldn't about the path of the stock unless it closes convincingly below the rising trendline.  Apple reports on 30 July.

As of close 7 August 2020
  1. My last update
  2. Post close earnings on 7/30
  3. Despite breaking the rising trendline the week before, price exploded through all-time high following earnings on it's way to being the largest company in the world by market cap.
  4. A pullback toward the rising trendline and/or horizontal support makes sense.
Unless price breaks $356.58 to the downside, there's no reason to do anything but hold onto AAPL.  I certainly wouldn't have any interest in shorting it.

Apple still looks good to the long side here.
